A locket opens. That is what sets this collection apart from a photo pendant: the picture is inside, protected, and the outside can carry a pattern, a name, initials or a short message instead. Heart lockets hold one photo on each side, round and oval lockets hold one or two, and the larger book-style locket holds up to four small pictures.
\nWe size, crop and print your photos to fit the frames so they arrive already in place; you can still open the locket and swap them later with a photo printed at home. Each product page lists the inner frame dimensions in millimetres and the number of photos it holds, so choose the size by how many people you want inside and how visible you want the piece to be. A 20 mm heart sits discreetly below the collarbone on an 18 inch chain; a 30 mm oval is noticeable on a 20 or 22 inch chain.
\nMetals are sterling silver, 18K gold plated, rose gold plated and stainless steel. Lockets are a frequent choice for mothers, grandparents, weddings (a photo of a parent tied to the bouquet) and memorials. Engraving on the outside is optional and listed as an option where available. Chain lengths and how to measure are in the size guide; shipping times are in Shipping & Delivery.
